The single best indoor pickleball courts in Grand Rapids can be found at Broad Leaf Brewery. This hopping local eatery has something for everyone. Located in what was once a warehouse space, the decor is uplifting and trendy, with many different activities for guests of all ages. In one corner, you'll find a pretty sweet arcade. You can book the court for pickleball or join an ongoing game while you wait for your drinks and meal.

Oh, did we mention the menu? You'll love the Asian Fusion and American Grill combo with meaty and vegetarian options. And if you book a party, you can reserve some pickleball courts plus a ton of food for the table.

Amway Grand Plaza - Rooftop Pickleball

The Amway Grand Plaza is one of the icons of Grand Rapids, MI. It is an absolutely gorgeous hotel towering above the city skyline. There are restaurants, spas, lounges, and play areas. But by far, their best choice for making the grand hotel a hotspot for local activity is rooftop pickleball.

Have you ever wanted to play pickleball with a view? Now you can. From the top of the beautiful Amway Grand Plaza Hotel, you can book a pickleball court and then pop down for cocktails and steaks when you get hungry. Heck, you can even bring your friends and make it a party.

The inward curving fencing on the roof even ensures that you don't rain pickleballs down on the people below.

Old Farm Park

If you're looking for a charming neighborhood pickleball court, check out Old Farm Park. Contrary to the name, the facilities are quite new, well-lit, and a lot of fun. Old Farm Park is a hotspot for those enjoying the playground, the disc golf course, or just getting in their daily exercise, so you can find a pickleball partner even if you come alone.

Old Farm Park is known for its green walking paths, playground, 18 "hole" disc golf course, basketball, and pickleball courts. There is also a lovely creek running through with a pond where you can sit on the shore and watch the local wildlife when you're ready to rest.

Grand Rapids Pickleball Club

If you're looking to join the Grand Rapids Pickleball Club or watch professional tournaments, visit the Pickleball Club on Coldbrrook Street. There are 21 total pickleball courts where you can join free play hours, sign up for summer beginner lessons, or get involved in the Grand Rapids pickleball tournaments.

All In Pickleball Gym

The All In Pickleball Gym is a large indoor pickleball court space with five full-sized courts, four trainer courts, and a lounge for relaxing between games. There is always something going on at the "All In" because it is one of the only pickleball places in town open both early and late. Early risers and night owls alike love the center because it's open from 4 AM to 12 AM almost every day of the year.

You can jump in during open play hours or reserve a court for your own private use. They also have a membership program for discounted rates and special deals.

Coming Soon: Pickle x Pin

We're also excited to see a new pickleball venue announced and coming soon. The Pickle x Pin looks like it may become quite the hotspot for drinking, socializing, and playing friendly games. We have been teased with the promise of three indoor pickleball courts and several golf simulator stations for fun all around, in addition to a cool bar and lounge.

The Pickle x Pin has announced that it will open sometime in October of 2024 at 662 Leonard St, NW. So keep your eye on this location to see what's going on, and be sure to stop by once the pickleball courts are open.

I’ve been at River Oaks for almost a year now, and it's been pretty great. Management's solid with communication, which is a big plus. Our apartment's been smooth sailing, and when we've had minor issues, they're fixed super quick, like within a day. The grounds are clean, the amenities are well-kept, and everyone's friendly. This is the best place to live in Kentwood and all Grand Rapids area.
